Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowls
  • Tongs or fork

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  • Set up three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs (breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder).
  • Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer and lightly spray with oil.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and cooked to 165°F internal temperature.
  • Remove and serve immediately with your choice of sides.

Notes

Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Reheating: Reheat gently in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes to restore crispiness.
Top Tips: Line the air fryer basket with parchment for easier cleanup. Flip tenders halfway for even crisping. Leave space between tenders so they crisp up properly.
