Mixing bowls
Tongs or fork
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- cooking spray or olive oil
Set up three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs (breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder).
Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer and lightly spray with oil.
Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and cooked to 165°F internal temperature.
Remove and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Reheating: Reheat gently in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes to restore crispiness.
Top Tips: Line the air fryer basket with parchment for easier cleanup. Flip tenders halfway for even crisping. Leave space between tenders so they crisp up properly.
